The Sunshine that stains the wood is fleeting, moving restlessly. The shadows of leaves dance on my bed, at play among the green leaf prints on soft cotton. I saw a glimpse of your head gently turning on my pillow leaving a slight indentation. Perhaps that was your leg beneath the rumpled white blanket that I pulled against me or the crook of your arm warm near my cheek as I shifted to listen to the wind. I watch the restless sky outside my curtained window imagining the darkness that will shroud the crescent moon tonight. This afternoon will walk past my door at dusk in the same path you used when you left.
It is normal for you to think of someone, who has been with you for a long time... Someone that has been with you all through out and losing that someone will leave you pain, still you remember... Good or bad, happy or sad... You sometimes won't be able to control it and will sometimes cause you tears and pain within... But you don't have to regret things that happened for there is always a reason and God always has his reasons for letting things turn that way... Be thankful because there is a brighter future awaits you... Don't live in the past just remember it or think of the future so much... Just live today because it is a gift that's why it is called the PRESENT!

If you see that you have become like water
that my palms no longer cup you-
dripping away
out to the river of both strange and familiar currents
then ask me-
I will not freeze you here

Or if you would rather stray away from the pastures where I keep you,
if you ache and break for tales I could never have told
or known,
though you are the only one I shepherd,
I will let you race till you have satisfied your life's story

and I will be sitting here
where you have always known me to be,
just waiting for the right moment
for you to remember
that I too ache and break for stories you've never told,
hoping to unravel how your heroes
constantly draw you away
from this unchanging place.

So that perhaps, you would realize
how slowly I am becoming the myth
in this poignant story of ours.

I have kept faith
and borne myself into this gray state
with your every leaving
desperately hoping
that after the sun sets down
and bathes crimson on your epic setting,
you would not forget
to go home

and spend the night with me.

These pictures were taken mid last year when I had to exit to Singapore. So I brought Joe and Iggy with me. We just stroll around and killed the time in Raffles Place. Also, our favourite MRT station in the green lane in Singapore... HEHEHEHE!

On the plane going to Singapore...Joe and Iggy waiting for the food to be served...(We are hungry! Where is the food? Are we in the business class?...Gosh, these two are so...grrr!!)

Good thing the seat was empty, they get to sit and feel comfortable during the flight...but for some reason Iggy (on the left) was feeling a bit dizzy that's why he is leaning towards Joe almost fell...hihihihi

And our favorite MRT stop is...it just sounds funny specially if you are going to base it in tagalog...hihihihi...

As years go by, more and more women choose to be single. It’s not that they don’t want to get married but won’t be rushing into it just for the sake of having a “married” status. Who wouldn’t want to love and be love by a guy and share the rest of their lives together? Who wouldn’t want to feel the chills when her boyfriend asks her to marry him? Who wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle wearing the wedding dress she dreamed of?

Earlier today, I read an article which different women in their late 20’s saying that being single is not a bad thing. This is definitely true! Why is that? First of all, you get to do things the way you wanted it and go to places you desire. I agree that it would be better if you enjoy your trip with your boyfriend but aren’t you going to enjoy if you are with your friends? Of course not! Being single is not a curse; that you have to hide from the world. It is the 21st century and we are now into women empowerment. Most of the women are competitive and career oriented. I am not saying that you have to ignore or suggest you not wanting to have a love life but why pressure yourself if there isn’t someone out there for you? Perhaps the right guy hasn’t reached your location, so while you are waiting for the two of you to cross paths just enjoy life and be what you want to be. Being single is rewarding and it is the best time of your life! Don’t pity yourself. It is the right time for you to concentrate on your career and achieve the goals you are aiming to. Don’t be stuck in the concept that it is lonely being single. It’s not true. Being happy is a choice, so you just have to make a choice whether you will drown yourself in sadness or be HAPPY! Don’t let those old fashion opinions affect you. Just live it up!

Here are some tips on how to enjoy being single (an article in wikiHow):

  1. Say yes to every opportunity to learn, grow and meet new people.
  2. Be grateful for what you have. After the grieving period, focus on what you do have for example, good health and a good support system of family and friends.
  3. Don't be afraid to invest yourself in deep relationships with other people. You don't have to be dating somebody to have an intimate and fulfilling relationship with them. Don't be afraid to open up and be vulnerable sometimes.
  4. Decide for yourself if there are aspects of your life or your personality that you would like to change and do it. You are your best evaluator. You don't need to listen to those people who tell you that you are single because you are too "picky", too fat, or too old to meet someone else.
  5. Ignore the toxic people in your life. It is easy to recognize them. Their negative words of fear and discouragement sap your energy.
  6. Think about all the things you can do because you are now single. You could take off and go traveling without discussing it with somebody else. You can watch TV all day without being called lazy. You don't actually have to do these things but, sometimes, just the knowledge that you could is enough to make you feel great.
  7. Invest in yourself. Save some money and get a professional massage. Get a manicure and pedicure.... anything that nurtures your body and lifts your spirit.

Ever since I was a kid I love drinking Yakult. I really don’t know why. Some would say that it taste weird and some says like spoiled milk. They would ask me what benefits would I get from drinking it, I really find it helpful in my digestion and I feel like I’m a kid again. HAHAHAHA! For me it’s better than drinking soda which makes my tummy really big. That’s why at home they would buy 3 packs of it nowadays, 2 for my nieces and of course the extra is for yours truly. ‘Coz one time they got surprised and my nieces cried not seeing their Yakult in the fridge. I heard one of my nieces said “It was just there earlier, I saw it! Where did it go?” I felt guilty, that’s why my dad reminded mom, don’t forget that there are three children here, pertaining to me as the third one (daddy’s little girl), ROFLMAO! And now I’m drinking one that’s why I thought of writing about it. Childish! I just wish that they would have big sizes...HEHEHEHE!

Cisco Systems is taking part to everyone's concern...Climate Change! Yes, they recently pledge to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 25 percent by the year 2012, relying to IT and launching energy-efficiency projects to achieve operational goals. According to Laura Ipsen, co-chair of Cisco's Eco Board and Senior Vice President of Cisco's Global Policy and Government Affairs. "We are innovators at Cisco, and we believe that the best way to achieve a more sustainable impact is to rely on innovation and our technology to help us solve problems,". She also said, "Our number one goal here is to use less energy - and we're going to do that by drawing on the power of technology to make things smarter." As we all are aware of technical industry is rapidly increasing, more and more are using energy meaning billions of kWh and tends to increase in the near future. With this initiative from Cisco to lessen by 25 percent is a very strong and hopefully an effective campaign that company's growth can go hand in hand in protecting the environment. Big or small companies should take part or consider to help in our main goal! That is to care for our environment not only just for the present but for the future generations. Way to go, Cisco!
