all precious moments
An amazing voice, I recently heard from a new artist who was discovered by Simon Cowell. I know…I know, I have been busy so I didn’t get updated with what is happening in the outside world until I started blogging…Back to that…Yes, that’s right no other than Leona Lewis who has conquered the number one spot in UK and now in the US billboard with her second single. I first saw her perform in last week’s American Idol elimination night, and I really fell in love with her voice and her song Bleeding Love, it's very catchy! I find her ordinary looking unlike Beyonce or Alicia Keys that really shows the curves and figures but for me even how simple she dressed or looks but she got the X Factor which she is worth winning in UK, Leona is really hot! I like the way she sang it, the fading effect or husky style in her voice does it all! Simon really is fantastic in seeking artists. They really have the potential of becoming popular in the music industry. That makes me think that the voters in A.I. mostly based their judgment with his criticism or whatever you will call it…Look how beautiful she is…She will definitely conquer the airwaves…

Weekend in the office...nice huh? Of course aside from updating my blog I also looked for some jobs back home, since I will be home soon I have to search and get a new one...I updated my resume and logged on to a job search engine, when I tried to upload my resume it exceeded the alloted size so of course I had to do some resizing...my friend Vanessa was online and we've been chatting along with Jules earlier so I asked her what can I do to reduce the size of my document? A brilliant idea came to her and suggested me to remove my picture, nice one! And then blabber about resizing the picture instead and giving me instructions and when I told her I don't see what she is telling me to look for turn out telling me that she's also not sure what she is telling me...alright, so I decided to do it on my own and was successful(I didn't realize that the size of the picture on my resume was too big!). The three of us also talked about a former colleague whom now is working in a different company and getting a high salary!!! That guy was actually obsessed with Vanessa that's why both Jules and I told her to get in touch with him so we can get some details where to submit our resumes but of course Vanessa opted and told us that she might again receive an email from the guy's GF telling her to stay away from him (duh! As if! hehehehe!). That option of course cannot be done so I am now doing my research to where and whom I can submit my resume for that company...I just really hope it won't take much time before I get a job back home...

I came a few hours early here in the office to work on my blog, since it is a Saturday so it's just okay to do unrelated to work stuff because normally there are few people in the office and besides all of them are doing their own business: playing computer games, watching movies online and so on...While I am minding my own stuff here, all of a sudden the browser went crazy, no matter I refreshed it still displays "Page Cannot be Displayed", dang! So I did what I had to do, close all browsers and re-open everything up...crazy? I know! But who am I to complain? I just have to bear with this for a few weeks anyway. Honestly, I don't understand why it's happening aside from the browser problem most of the time I can't use the YM application. I have tried everything that I know from my technical experience but somehow none of them really worked, so I am thinking whether it's just me or their network here is really going loco! I didn't bother asking the others if they are experiencing the same problem. I've done my research and tried all those stuff as well but nothing helps, I'm still facing the same problem everyday...that's why some of my friends keep teasing me that our office connection is hopeless, which I accepted since the very beginning that I set foot here. However, I am seeking a way or an improvement and sometimes giving reasons like "Oh because they are a new company" or "They are not yet that advanced" something like that but come to think of it, this company is owned by one of the top 10 billionaires of the world ranked by Forbes and they can't get a good ISP nor state of the art equipment, such an irony...Perhaps, eventually it will reach their senses (I'm keeping my fingers crossed). I really feel sorry because I'm seeing a very bright future for this company and besides most of the people working here are really good (ehem, ehem!), but because the percentage of being scared to take risk is still high that keeps them from having the ultimate result that they wanted...I don't know with anyone but for me business is a risk and if you are expecting to have a quality result then you better invest on those stuff that will help you achieve that goal.

I just wanna share how I felt when I post my first review/ad a few minutes ago...I was really nervous! It's like everything is new again...I know that I just started blogging although I got the hang of it already but for some reason, I felt nervous and I don't know what to do when I started my first review/ad...Maybe I was scared of making mistakes and won't be able to get approved, so what I did was to check out my friend Eva's blog and look at the source code for me to know where I should put the images, links and all. It was successful that's why after the nervousness now comes the feeling of happiness and excitement...I know that there are a lot of opportunities that awaits me and I am very much looking forward to that! I am enjoying this more than ever specially that I have friends who supports me. Thanks to my friends, blogmates and to the future subscribers of my blog. Happy blogging everyone!

It is my first day again from my two days off...I'm really tired of going in the office...I feel really bored of my routine. I want to have more challenging task where I could learn more. We are now having upgrades with our SMS router that keeps on causing problems since last week...thousands of complaints are forwarded in our call center and of course escalated to us in the Network Operations Center but since we don't know which caused the problem, I cannot say anything to them, I just released the network advisory but they keep on calling and asking...what is not clear in this statement "being investigated"? Sometimes, I really wonder if my screws are loosing up or it's really them that have some brain problem...My God! Go get your dictionaries and try to learn more vocabulary!(I really wanted to tell them this) I am caught in the middle of a communication problem between the vendor and the staff here in the office, the good thing is that it will not be that long for me to bear with this, I'm going home at last...

Once in a while, I watch movies in a movie house just to observe the writer's creativity in terms of the sound effects, CG (cos if you watch at home the quality differs) and also if the actors or actresses portray the roles are my favorites. Last night, we decided to watch "The Forbidden Kingdom" the first ever movie teamed up by martial arts legends Jackie Chan and Jet Li. I really thought it was a very serious movie because since I have been busy in my work and mostly I watch DVD's (series) at home I'm somehow not updated with the movies that to be release or being shown...I was really amazed with the scenery...very beautiful! I mean who would have thought that there are places like that? As for their fight scene inside a temple was really awesome...even though some might say that they are old already for that, you really can't deny the fact that they are really, really GREAT!!! Also, they are still good looking men for their age (blushing)...It was really fun, not just the typical Chinese movies with all martial arts and fighting and blood scattered everywhere...I felt sorry for Michael for being kicked, punched..etc but definitely, it was a really good experience working with those two. The girl who played the Golden Sparrow and the White Witch were not bad as well...they are also very pretty...It was not really a heavy comedy or action or drama film but for me it was well written and created. I really recommend watching the movie. I would really watch it again...

Take a look on this cute gadget "Creative Zen Stone Plus"...I bought the player last December and received the speaker as a gift last month...soooo nice!!! It is my sleeping companion, easy to transfer songs and the sound quality is also great, the speakers use two triple A battery which even if I use it every night it doesn't consume much...the player's battery last 2-3 days well depends on how you are using it, of course...There are other cool accessories also for this cutee but so far I just have the silicon case with clip. I also bring it with me everywhere I go, so I won't get bored while waiting, it keeps me awake... It is very small but has a big space to accommodate your songs, you can use it as a flash drive as well but I have only the 2GB and I just really use it for music so for me that is enough. So for those of you who are music lover, you may want to check this one out! Happy Listening!

Here is one of the many prayers I have read from my favorite author's website. For those who are feeling down and thinking that nothing good is gonna happen in your life, close your eyes, have a moment of silence and say this prayer from deep within. Surrender to the Lord whatever it is that you have inside you and He will lead you...Lord, I believe in You and know that You have lifted me out of the darkness of hopelessness, futility, and fear. I refuse to be afraid. I confess any time I have chosen to walk in the darkness of doubt, disobedience, or blaming You for my circumstances. Forgive me. I give my hand to You, Lord. Take hold of it and lead me. Thank You that as I take each step, the light You give me will be all I need.

Isn’t this thing so cool? This magnificent piece of equipment has really caught my eyes, so elegant! I don’t usually get fascinated of stuff like this, for me as long as it is working properly, small and I can do my work on it, it is fine. When I saw this, I really awed its sophisticated appearance, the technical specifications, software and the accessories that came with it. You don’t have to worry about the cables or where to place it, because in that beautiful thing, it is COMPLETE and won’t eat up a lot of space on your table. Their designs are really nice and even though it is quite big it is not bulky because of the slim stylish look, you may get scared of the stand but it is sturdy. The keyboard fits your fingertips very well. Oh I really love this thing even if it is huge! Try to check it out.
